Oh... Hello.
A newsletter, I guess.
My Substack kind of dropped off the face of the earth (internet?) for a little while… If this is your main way of keeping tabs on things with me, sorry. I always want to say more than what is coming up in my life or what I have done, but then I wonder… does anyone even care? The Artificial Intelligence thing and the state of the USA and world as a whole has really disheartened me. I’m fighting the feeling of hopelessness that I know is being imposed on me… but it’s hard.
Anyway, I have been doing things and I do have events coming up. I have a reading this Saturday (May 30th) at the Kirkland Arts Center. I will be reading from my new short screenplay, The Pooptergeist, which is inspired by a true story!
I will have STICKERS for sale and the last copies of Haunted Ones.
I do not have any copies of A Portrait of a Poison on hand, BUT you can OFFICIALLY get the paperback ANYWHERE! There are signed copies at the Northgate Barnes and Noble in Seattle. This new version has twice as many poems.
Why is there a new version? Because I’m breaking up with Amazon (publishing). Haunted Ones is still currently being printed through Amazon, but as soon as I get everything switched over to Ingram, it will be more widely available. And to entice you to get the new version, I have fixed many of the typos that were missed during the first round, and I am adding material, including some of the behind the scenes work that helped me write the full novella.
Outside of writing work, I was featured on the Seattle International Film Festival poster and in the trailer… and I have (at least) three shows coming up for Kino B. Demented. Below is the current calendar of things.
I probably missed some things here, but thanks for reading. Thanks for sticking around. I’ll see you soon.
